Happy Valentine's Day!

I have been knocked on my butt since Sunday with a really bad cold. I had to work Wed-Friday but since blogging about work is a really easy way to get fired, I'll just gloss over all that and say it was a wonderful experience. Do you believe me? Anyway, I am starting to see the light at the end of all this and can at least walk around without falling now. But Mom arrives on Friday and I wanted so badly to do a huge clean and organization before she gets here. I know she won't mind at all if I'm too sick to do most of that. And I should at least be able to clean out the majority of the cat hair from the bedroom for her, but it would have been nice to make the place as clean for her as she always makes Duncan for me.

I'm really looking forward to her visit. And guess what, she and Dad are coming out again in June, I'm so lucky! Ken and I will be living together by then, somewhere we haven't found yet. It'll be a two bedroom though so finally I'll have a guestroom. I'm almost an adult! And oh yeah, I turn 32 in about a week. Woohoo!
